The Socio-Economic Indexes for Areas (SEIFA) Index of Relative Socio-economic Disadvantage (IRSD) ranks areas according to their relative socio-economic disadvantage. More information about SEIFA IRSD scores can be found here or from the Australian Bureau of Statistics. It is important to understand the distribution of SEIFA scores within $LGAname. The graph below shows the distribution of $LGAname's population by national quintiles of disadvantage. In $LGAname, $xxxx% of the population can be considered extremely disadvantaged (within the bottom quintile). Across Australia, 20% of the population falls within this bottom quintile, as well as each of the other quintiles.
